Prime Fusion Fitness is led by certified personal trainer and nutrition coach John Conroy, Under his guidance you will look better, live better, and achieve your goals. If you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s, or 60s, John specializes in helping you take back control of your health and rediscover what it means to feel strong, capable, and in your prime.

John Conroy is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and graduate student in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology.
With expertise in Strength & Conditioning, Endurance, Balance, Hypertrophy, Weight Management, and Post-Physical Therapy Recovery, John designs personalized fitness programs tailored to your unique goals and needs. He especially enjoys helping if you're new to fitness (or getting back into it), navigating life transitions into middle or older age, or rebuilding after injury, surgery, or illness.
John’s approach blends deep technical knowledge with real-world empathy. He believes progress happens through consistency, balance, and mindset, not extremes. His coaching philosophy centers on helping you develop self-efficacy and rediscover what it feels like to be strong, capable, and in control.
John's ultimate goal is not just to improve your physical fitness, but to create a foundation for lasting vitality and help you become the strongest version of yourself.

I never would have imagined starting a fitness program at 67, but it has undoubtedly been the best decision I have ever made. John’s approach is simple; achievable nutritional goals, while working on strengthening your body. In the short time I’ve been working with John I’ve steadily lost weight (one of my goals), I’ve become steadier on my feet (another goal), but more importantly I’ve been able to tone my muscle mass. I’m fitting into clothes that I never thought I would, and now I’m not ashamed to look in the mirror.
Probably the biggest advantage of working with John is that I now look forward to going to the gym every morning. It is not a chore to do my workout program that John has crafted for me, it is now fun and rewarding. John is an awesome coach/trainer and always has some sort of encouragement that makes it fun, and makes you want to push for more.

Coach John is truly such a wonderful trainer. He explains everything so clearly and even gives me little references or visuals that help lock in my form and remember exactly how to do each exercise. He checks in on my nutrition and water intake and always takes the time to explain why it matters, which keeps me motivated and accountable. He really emphasizes proper form and knows exactly how to push my limits while still keeping every workout fun and engaging. I’m so grateful to be training with him!
I started with John just about a year ago. We discussed what my goals were for starting to train again. After confirming my level of fitness (or lack thereof), John started me on program that pushed my strength levels upward.
